FIND YOUR CONDITION
Whatever your condition is, you can trust the team at Kulp Physical Therapy to get to the bottom of your condition, and provide you an effective treatment plan.

Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis causes bones to become weak and brittle — so brittle that a fall or even mild stresses such as bending over or coughing can cause a fracture.

Osteopenia
Osteopenia is a loss of bone mineral density (BMD) that weakens bones. It's more common in people older than 50, especially women

Kyphosis
Kyphosis is a curving of the spine that causes a bowing of the back, such that the apex of the angle points backwards leading to a hunchback or slouching posture.

Scoliosis
Scoliosis causes a sideways curve of your backbone, or spine. These curves are often S- or C-shaped. Scoliosis is most common in late childhood and the early teens, when children grow fast.

Imbalance Syndromes and Falls
A balance disorder is a condition that makes you feel unsteady or dizzy. If you are standing, sitting, or lying down, you might feel as if you are moving, spinning, or floating. If you are walking, you might suddenly feel as if you are tipping over.

Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis. Some people call it degenerative joint disease or “wear and tear” arthritis. It occurs most frequently in the hands, hips, and knees.

Lumbar and Cervical Degenerative Joint Disease
Cervical degenerative disc disease is a common cause of neck pain and radiating arm pain. It develops when one or more of the cushioning discs in the cervical spine starts to break down due to wear and tear.

Degenerative Disc Disease
Degenerative disk disease occurs when the cushioning in your spine begins to wear away. The condition is most common in older adults.

Spinal Stenosis
Spinal stenosis happens when the space inside the backbone is too small. This can put pressure on the spinal cord and nerves that travel through the spine. Spinal stenosis occurs most often in the lower back and the neck.

Foot Pain and Bunions
A bunion is a bony bump that forms on the joint at the base of your big toe. It occurs when some of the bones in the front part of your foot move out of place. This causes the tip of your big toe to get pulled toward the smaller toes and forces the joint at the base of your big toe to stick out.

COMMON TREATMENTS
At Kulp Physical therapy, we only offer the best treatments available. Here are just some of the better treatments we offer to our patients. Contact our office at any time if you have any questions.

Braces
Bracing is an effective form of treatment for certain orthopedic conditions. A brace, by restricting movement and relieving pressure, promotes healing, takes weight off an injured area, and provides post-operative support.

Walking Assist Devices
A walking aid is one of several devices a patient may be issued in order to improve their walking pattern, balance or safety while mobilising independently.

Strengthening, Stretching, & ROM Exercises (Range of Motion)
Range of motion (ROM) exercises are done to preserve flexibility and mobility of the joints on which they are performed.

Balance Exercises
Balancing exercises work your core muscles, lower back, and legs. Lower-body strength-training exercises can also help improve your balance.

Education Programs for Fall Prevention
A fall prevention program will focus on the multiple factors that can lead to increased fall risk. Patients will be evaluated to determine chance of risk for calling and a personal program will be developed.
