Types of Massage
Integrated – Recovery Massage
Integrates multiple massage techniques on targeted muscle groups to reduce pain, increase range of motion and facilitate the body’s natural healing process in response to injury and chronic pain. (This is good for overuse injuries, posture and movement re-education.)
Orthopedic Massage and Pain
Improves the body’s response and ability to adapt to intense physical demands by lengthening muscles and loosening fibrous scar tissue. Range of motion is improved and blood vessels are open to speed your recovery, reduce soreness and relieve stiffness. (This is good for golfers elbow, tennis elbow, upper and lower back pain, neck pain, frozen shoulder and fibromyalgia.)
Provides total body relaxation through the use of long flowing strokes and moderate pressure to promote the benefits of relaxation including reduced soreness and increased energy. This de-stresses the body.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep pressure penetrates the inner layer of the muscle tissue to facilitate blood flow and loosen stubborn knots. This type of massage relieves muscle tension caused by repetitive motion, particularly those associated with workplace activities. (This is good for releasing acute and chronic stress areas and provides deep pain relief.)
Massage techniques used before, during and after athletic training and competition. (This is good for runners and individuals who participate in football, soccer, baseball, volleyball, hockey, wrestling, swimming and other sports in both high school and college.)
Kulp Physical Therapy and Massage provides massages at 30 minute, 60 minute and 90 minute treatment time lengths and at competitive prices.
We will give you your full amount of time for your massage. If you pay for 60 minutes you get 60 minutes unlike the discount massage outlets or salons.
Why Kulp Physical Therapy and Massage
Kulp Physical Therapy and Massage utilizes hands on treatment to help the individual with their day to day aches and pains that can distract the individual from their daily activities. Our massage therapist utilizes an orthopedic or structural approach to the massage to provide a longer lasting effect not characteristic of your spa or salon massage.
